Syllabus:

This course aims to provide an advanced understanding of criminological theory and its applications in criminal justice contexts by studying the major theoretical perspectives that have shaped the study of crime and deviance. Throughout the course students explore theories in relation to a wide range of illicit activity, such as transnational crime, policing and security, organised crime, cybercrime, terrorism, ¿corrections and corruption.
