JAPN 2202 - Japanese IIB

Japanese IIB continues instruction and practice in the four skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking, whilst enabling students to broaden and consolidate their knowledge of the Japanese language established in Japanese IIA. To develop knowledge of the grammar, vocabulary and kanji characters in both written and spoken Japanese contexts, the course aims: i) to introduce and consolidate new grammar points, ii) to expand knowledge and use of vocabulary in both conversational and written contexts, iii) to become familiar with new kanji characters, while also consolidating the accurate use of hiragana and katakana characters and, iv) to develop intercultural communication skills and strategies, and v) to become efficient and independent language learners.
