In this course, students will be introduced to human development across the lifespan from infants through childhood, adolescence, adulthood and older age. The principles of physiotherapy practice will be explored across the lifespan in the context of models of health including the World Health Organization - International Classification of Function, Disability and Health (WHO-ICF). Students will develop skills and knowledge in the promotion of health and wellbeing of themselves and others. The course is designed to integrate and apply learning from previous courses. This is a blended learning course comprised of workshops supported by online learning tasks and materials. |
