Syllabus:

In this course, you will build on professional practice knowledge developed in first year, extend your clinical reasoning skills and develop physiotherapy assessment and management skills. You will explore the professional practice issues of informed consent, maintaining privacy and confidentiality, risk assessment, goal setting and effective communication and cultural safety in relation to physiotherapy practice. You will apply clinical reasoning frameworks to lower limb cases. You will learn physiotherapy assessment and management skills for lower limb neuro-musculoskeletal conditions, which will be further developed in third year.
